Aluminium
Elemental aluminum which is present in aluminum foil, will not
cause systemic toxicity. Aluminium salts are ingredients of
pharmacuticla preparations including antacid mixtures which are
taken internally.
Ingestion of aluminium foil may cause obstruction of the
gastrointestinal tract (it will act as a foreign body). Aluminium foil
should not be given to a bird as a "toy" to chew on because of
possible foreign body obstruction.
